However, time is of the essence, so at least hit up these six must-do fall events. <\/p>\n There are several hiking trails in Flagstaff that offer fantastic fall views. Consider a hike in Wilson Meadow, Bismarck Lake or the Aspen Nature Loop. <\/p>\n Every Thursday through Sunday in the month of October enjoy a German style beer garden at Ales on Rails. You’ll take a train ride through Verde Canyon for a four-hour tour.<\/p>\n The community farmers market is located in the Flagstaff City Hall parking lot. It’s your last month to enjoy fresh fruits, veggies and homemade goods. Stop by every Sunday through October from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to stock your kitchen with harvested treats.<\/p>\n At the Arboretum of Flagstaff, you can kick up your heels as you breathe in the fresh fall air during the Pumpkin Walk. This year’s event will be held on October 22 at 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Make sure to stick around for the lighting of the jack-o-lanterns at dusk.<\/p>\n Throughout the month of October, the Grand Canyon Railway Pumpkin Patch Train will take off each weekend. Bring the kids so they can pick their own pumpkin out of a secret pumpkin patch, which is your final destination.<\/p>\n Each Sunday in October, the NAU choirs will sing their hearts out starting at 3 p.m. at the Ardery Auditorium.
